EXTENDED PLAY: 006 Featuring Selector Ross Thompson

On January 30th, 2025, Cue the Record brought its sixth installation of Extended Play, a curated night of vinyl selections, this time at Houston's Room 808 with vinyl selector Ross of Cue the record.

Extended play is a journey through genres. Selectors play everything ranging from jazz, hip-hop, and funk, to house, international grooves, disco, and soul.

About Ross

Ross Thompson is a Houston native currently living in Brooklyn with a deep passion for music and building community. His love for records began in his grandparents’ game room, digging through their collection and discovering sounds that would shape his own journey. Over the past three years, Ross has built an extensive vinyl collection spanning soul, funk, jazz, R&B, and hip hop.
