Founded in 2024, Cue the Record is a NYC‑based collective that brings people together through a shared love of analog sound and music history. We turn albums into fully immersive high fidelity experiences, whether through our immersive listening sessions or our extended play curated sounds.

A community for analog lovers & music enthusiasts

Cue the Record exists because music is the most reliable way humans have found to reach each other. It's how we say things words can't hold.

To honor that truth, our sound system is built around vintage Klipsch Cornwall heritage speakers driven by a 1970s Monteverdi receiver. It's a setup that honors music's physical presence—delivering sound as close to the original recording as possible, so you can feel what was meant to be felt.

Our listening sessions bring people together around carefully chosen records: classic albums that shaped generations, deep cuts that deserve wider audiences, genres and scenes that tell the story of who we've been and who we're becoming. Guest selectors share what's sustained them—the records that became lifelines, touchstones, revelations. Artists and cultural voices help us understand how music moves through communities, shapes identities, carries histories forward.

Some sessions will be contemplative—collective listening where we create space for music to work on us without distraction. Others will spark conversation, debate, discovery. All of them will remind you why music matters most when it's shared.

Music has always been how we recognize each other. This is where we practice that recognition together.
